@@annoying_HK_guy Have you never heard the phrase the student surpasses the teacher? Anno is clearly going to defend his idol but it doesn't change the fact that Miyazaki is a talentless old man who copies Disney and is super overrated.
@@MrX-bd1ou I can't think of anything Anno made that was better than the worst miyazaki film. Even Evangelion is overrated and mediocre.

If this is anything close to how Hideaki-san was like IRL, I can see why working on Nadia and Evangelion gave him massive depression spells.
From fellow Gainax co-workers interviews regarding him he's much more weirdly insane in real life.😅 I remember Miyazaki remembering him as the "crazy guy who sleeps in the studio, never bath, nor brush his hair, walks around bare-footed mumbling to himself...."

He made 2 Ultra-man parody short films, first in college with him playing an Ultra-man like giant, and again for the Comiket convention after graduating.
There should be a scene of him with Kamen Rider related stuff, since he directed Shin Kamen Rider
